Everyone’s favorite lingerie and beauty magnate from Barbados, who is also a Grammy-winning music superstar, a new mom, and an aspiring real estate magnate, now has one less thing to worry about. Rihanna finally sold her Hollywood Hills home after putting it up for sale and taking it off the market several times over several years. During that time, it was also available for rent.
The Mediterranean-style home was first put up for sale for just under $7.5 million in December 2018, and it was also rented out for a pricey $35,000 per month. It was finally sold to an unnamed buyer in an off-market deal for just under $6.6 million, which is about $250,000 less than the owner paid for it five years ago, in the summer of 2017.
The modern building with stucco walls and a terracotta roof was built on spec and finished in 2015. It sits on a nearly half-acre lot high above the busy Sunset Strip. It is hidden behind gates and green plants, and it is on a nearly half-acre piece of land. Inside, there are about 7,100 square feet of living space spread out over several levels. It has high ceilings, arched doors, hardwood and tile floors, and six bedrooms and 10 bathrooms.
The entire house has steel-framed doors and windows that let in a lot of light and give you a great view of the city lights and mountains. There is also a billiard room and a movie theater, as well as a two-car garage with a guesthouse on top that has a gym and a bathroom.
