NBA star Victor Oladipo has sold his Orlando, Florida, home, which featured a shoe collector’s showroom, for $1.6 million, according to a publicly available deed.
Oladipo, who is 29 years old and began his professional basketball career with the Orlando Magic in 2013, purchased the custom-built house in the gated community of Emerson Pointe in 2016 for $1.18 million, as per property records.
He listed the property for sale in September with the Jordan and Lanza Team of Mainframe Real Estate LLC. The lead agent, KeAusha Jordan, mentioned that Oladipo decided to sell because he had relocated to Miami. Oladipo was traded to the Miami Heat in the spring. Throughout his career, he has also played for the Oklahoma City Thunder, Indiana Pacers, and Houston Rockets. He earned his first NBA All-Star selection and won the NBA Most Improved Player Award during his first season with the Indiana Pacers.
The home, situated on over 0.31 acres, boasts 5,322 square feet of living space, including six bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms. It features a two-story foyer, a formal dining room with high ceilings and crown molding, a family room with a gas fireplace and built-in cabinetry, and a gourmet kitchen equipped with stainless appliances, quartz counters, a double island, and a breakfast area, according to the listing.
One unique feature of the home is a customized shoe room located off the primary suite on the first floor, capable of storing up to 450 pairs of shoes. Jordan noted that this space could also be converted into an office or a nursery.
Upstairs, the property includes a home theater and an entertainment loft with a wet bar. Outdoors, there is a pool with a spa, a foundation, and a putting green, as described in the listing.
The location of the home is in close proximity to the world-renowned Bay Hill golf course, as well as high-end shopping and dining options, according to Ms. Jordan.
