Inside Dubai’s most expensive home: the US$204 million ‘Marble Mansion’ is a Versailles-style palace in the ‘UAE’s Beverly Hills’ that ‘only 10 people in the world can afford’

Nestled in Dubai’s exclusive Emirates Hills, this opulent mansion is a true marvel. Constructed with over US$20 million worth of exquisite Italian stone and adorned with a staggering 700,000 sheets of gold leaf, it stands as a testament to luxury and extravagance.

This majestic residence boasts five bedrooms and spans an impressive 60,000 square feet of indoor space. Remarkably, the primary bedroom alone covers 4,000 square feet, dwarfing the dimensions of most ordinary homes.

Not only is the mansion a masterpiece of architecture, but it also houses a remarkable 400-piece art collection, which the owner is willing to part with. The divorced owner created his personal Xanadu in 2008, and now, after over a decade, has decided to put it on the market. However, the property has garnered the attention of only two serious buyers thus far.

With a price tag of 750 million dirhams (equivalent to US$204 million), this mansion stands as the most expensive house currently available in a city where luxury real estate is in high demand, evoking the grandeur of Versailles.
