Custom Rolex Deepsea Sea-Dweller
Rolex is one of Beckham’s favourite brands, and his collection includes a variety of different pieces. Besides a classic Rolex Deepsea Sea-Dweller, Beckham has also been seen sporting a custom all-black Sea-Dweller. Rolex has never produced a full-black and PVD-coated version of this watch, meaning Beckham’s watch is customised by a third-party company. The monochrome finish makes for a perfect addition to Beckham’s more casual looks. For instance at the 2012 NBA Playoffs, where Beckham paired the watch with a casual black T-shirt and denim jeans.
Rolex Yacht-Master II Yellow Gold
Moving from black to gold, Beckham has also been spotted wearing this yellow gold Rolex Yacht-Master II. Set in the classic Oyster case and bracelet, this glittering watch is powered by a Manufacture Rolex Calibre 4161. It features a complicated programmable countdown timer, meant for easy synchronisation on the fly to match official race countdowns. It’s also one of Rolex’s largest watches at 44mm.
Rolex Day-Date 40
When enjoying their summer holidays in 2022, David and his wife, Victoria, were seen wearing matching rose gold watches. Beckham opted for a gold and green colour combination, a fashionable choice as of late. The Day-Date, crafted in Everose gold, Rolex’s patented 18ct rose gold formula, features an olive green dial, roman numeral hour indices and a hand-set diamond bezel. This timepiece is also fitted with Rolex’s legendary president bracelet (also in Everose gold).
Tudor Black Bay Chrono
In recent years, you’ve most likely seen Beckham wear his fair share of Tudor watches. Since 2017, Beckham has been an ambassador for the Swiss watchmaker.
The Black Bay Chronograph has become an iconic watch for the brand. Fitted with two sub-dials, an aluminium bezel, and a vintage inspired bracelet, it’s one of the more accessible watches in Beckham’s collection, with a price of £4,550.
Beckham was seen wearing the watch on multiple occasions after the model’s relaunch in 2021, including during the Wimbledon tennis tournament and for Tudor’s Black Bay Chrono “Born to Dare” campaign.
Tudor Black Bay Chrono S&G
Beckham also owns a slightly more expensive version of the Black Bay Chrono, namely the steel and gold model. Beckham showcased the watch while attending the Wimbledon tennis tournament in 2019, namely the more dressed-down version on a leather strap, rather than the full steel and gold bracelet. The brown leather pairs nicely with a black dial and 18ct gold sub-dials, crown and pushers. The watch is powered by a Tudor Manufacture Calibre MT5813 self-winding movement which has an approximate power reserve of 70 hours.
Tudor Black Bay 58
One of the most recent sightings on Beckham’s wrist is this grassy dial Black Bay 58, which he sported for the Wimbledon tennis tournament earlier this month. The green coloured dial and strap made for an excellent choice to match the occasion. This particular Black Bay 58 has a 39mm 18ct yellow gold case with a matching unidirectional bezel. The gold detailing on the bezel is elegantly coordinated with the dial, and the watch sits on a dark brown alligator strap with a matching 18ct gold buckle.
Jacob & Co. Global 3
Moving on from Rolex and Tudor, another rare watch in Beckham’s collection is this Jacob & Co. Global 3. The watch features five different sub-dials, all with their own crown, allowing the wearer to see their home time, alongside the time in New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo and Paris. Now discontinued, the watch is a rare find on the second-hand market and thus is tricky to place a value upon.
The watch comes with a black case and 18ct rose gold bezel, and has a quartz movement. It’s a unique watch, which Beckham was seen wearing for the first time in New York in 2011. It’s far from the only Jacob & Co. watch loved by the Beckhams. David and Victoria’s son, Romeo, has also been seen wearing the Jacob and Co. Five Time Zone watch.
