Michelle Pfeiffer and David E. Kelley have listed their more than 10,000-square-foot Los Angeles mansion for $25 million just about 18 months after they purchased it.
The celebrity power couple dropped $22.25 million on the seven-bedroom, 10-bathroom home in the posh neighborhood of Pacific Palisades in January 2020, according to property records. The residence was purchased through a limited liability company linked to Mr. Kelley’s production company.
Now they are ready to part with the residence, designed by architect Steve Giannetti and completed in 2019, at a more than 12% price increase.
The Napoli House, as it is known, “offers a warm, inviting layout that perfectly blends indoor and outdoor living,” according to the listing with Cindy Ambuehl of Compass. She declined to comment on the property.
The design takes cues from the European countryside, and features far-reaching views of the Riviera Country Club and the Pacific Ocean, according to the listing. It has beamed ceilings, hardwood floors and built-ins throughout, with retractable walls in the living area and open kitchen that lead to the backyard patio.
The eat-in kitchen, which boasts a Lacanche range imported from France and built-in Wolf ovens, overlooks the infinity pool and waterfall. There’s also a media room, wine storage, an office, and a primary bedroom suite with a fireplace and private patio overlooking the Riviera Golf Course, listing photos show.
Ms. Pfeiffer, 63, has spent five decades on the silver screen. She recently appeared in Marvel’s “Ant-Man and the Wasp” (2018) and will star in its sequel, which is currently filming and due out in 2023. She will also appear opposite Annette Bening in the psychological thriller “Turn of Mind.”
She and Mr. Kelley, 65, have been married since 1993. The writer, producer and former lawyer is known for his work on numerous television shows, including “The Practice,” “Ally McBeal” and “Big Little Lies.”
Representatives for the couple did not immediately return requests for comment. Dirt first reported the listing.
