MasterChef Australia star Adam Liaw splashes $5.26m on a lavish home on Sydney’s North Shore

Former MasterChef Australia star Adam Liaw has splashed out an eye-watering $5.26million on a gorgeous new home on Sydney‘s North Shore.

Located in Roseville, 12.6kms from the CBD, the Victorian-era pad features five bedrooms and three-bathrooms.

Liaw, 44, bought the sprawling estate after it went up for auction with a listing price of $4.9million reports The Daily Telegraph.

Originally built in 1908, the heritage home combines modern luxury with Old World charm.

Boasting an extensive renovations, much of its period features have been retained, including a splendid classic fireplace, and ornamental lead light picture windows.

Meanwhile, Liaw has sold off his family home of ten years in nearby Chatswood, after listing it for $3.2million.

Liaw, who rose to fame as the winner of MasterChef Australia in 2010, made headlines last month when he announced a new TV project with Poh Ling Yeow.

The celebrity chefs will team up to present the SBS series Great Australian Bites.

After becoming fast friends over a decade ago when they competed in back-to-back seasons of MasterChef, the pair will be seeking out local cuisine in the new reality show.
