Rams Star Aaron Donald Lists Luxurious L.A. Mansion

Despite hints that he may be entering his final year in the NFL, Suреr Bowl-winning defensive tackle Aaron Donald of the Los Angeles Rams has decided to put his Los Angeles home on the market. The prestigious property is listed for $6.25 million, a significant increase from the $4.75 million he purchased it for just over three years ago from Honest Co. CEO Nick Vlahos.

At 30 years old, Donald is currently negotiating a contract extension with the Rams, which would further boost his annual salary of $22.5 million. In 2018, he signed a six-year, $135 million deal, making him the highest-paid defensive player in the league at the time. (Pittsburgh Steelers’ T.J. Watt now holds that title with an annual salary of $28 million.)

Since being drafted by the Rams in 2014, Donald has proven himself as a dominant force in the league, accumulating 98 career sacks, eight Pro Bowl selections, seven first-team All-Pro honors, and three Defensive Player of the Year awards. He is widely expected to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fɑmе.

The listing for Donald’s home is represented by Jordan Cohen of RE/MAX One. Situated in the exclusive guard-gated Oaks community of Calabasas, the Mediterranean-style residence was originally constructed in 1996. It has undergone extensive renovations and now boasts six bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms spread across over 7,000 square feet of living space on two levels.

Upon arrival, a spacious brick motorcourt and an attached four-car garage welcome guests. Inside, a double-height foyer with a wraparound staircase sets an elegant tone. The home features a well-appointed lounge with a fireplace, a family room connected to a billiards/game room with floor-to-ceiling Fleetwood glass doors, and a gourmet kitchen equipped with top-of-the-line appliances, an island, a walk-in pantry, and a casual dining area. A formal dining room is also present on the main level.

Upstairs, the lavish master retreat offers a balcony, a showroom-style closet, and a two-way fireplace that connects to a separate sitting area. The master bath is luxurious, featuring dual vanities, a soaking tub, and a glass-encased shower.

The outdoor grounds are particularly impressive, covering nearly an acre of land. They feature resort-style amenities such as a zero-edge infinity pool adjacent to a 35-foot fire feature, a basketball court, and an expansive patio with a fireside dining area and a built-in barbecue setup.

Additional highlights of the property include a private guest suite with a kitchenette and a separate entrance, as well as a personal barbershop adorned with a large portrait of Aaron Donald himself.
