Erik ten Hag celebrates Man Utd’s success with a bike ride around town

ERIK TEN HAG rode a bike to celebrate leading Manchester United back to the Champions League.

The 53-year-old Dutchman oversaw Thursday’s 4-1 victory against Chelsea for United.

And the outcome eliminated United’s archrivals Liverpool from contention for the Champions League in the upcoming campaign.

Ten Hag was seen riding a bike in Cheshire on Friday after the Old Trafford humiliation.

He was seen riding his bike with his jacket slung over the front as summer approached quickly.

He wore dark grey pants and a long-sleeved light grey shirt, along with black sneakers.

Nevertheless, he feels there is still more work to be done after making considerable progress in his first year.

Ten Hag first requests “better players” from Man Utd executives in the summer.

“It is a good base to build on, but standards have to go up and demands have to go up,” he said following the victory over Frank Lampard’s struggling Chelsea, according to Sky Sports.

“We need to work with this squad in the summer, but we also need to strengthen with this squad in the window.

“We want to contend for the championship, but it has to be feasible. What is there is it.

“Now that we are far away, there is a lot of work to do, but if we want to compete for the highest, we need better players,” the speaker said.

United’s top transfer target is Harry Kane, with Ten Hag reportedly “obsessed” with the Tottenham forward.

In the event that Kane cannot be acquired, United has a shortlist of six strikers since they are aware of Daniel Levy’s harsh bargaining techniques.

Other celebrities with movements include Declan Rice and Mason Mount.

Other players the Red Devils are rumored to be interested in this summer are Jermaine Frimpong and defender Kim Min-jae.

Ten Hag had previously been seen riding his bicycle.

Early in the season, he was seen riding a bike with wife Bianca before being seen out and about on Valentine’s Day.
