RYAN GIGGS appeared for a haircut in Cheshire with girlfriend Zara Charles.

The couple enjoyed the morning sun as they walked to the barbershop.

Giggs, 49, went inside to trim, while Zara waited outside in the sun.

While the former Manchester United winger had his sword cut, Zara could be seen browsing her phone.

Giggs smiled while wearing a black T-shirt, cream shorts, sunglasses, and sneakers.

While Zara wears a black zip top, black shorts, and running shoes.

The couple does not often appear in public.

But they were spotted attending Salford’s League Two loss to Leyton Orient last month.

Giggs, along with 92-year-olds including David Beckham, Paul Scholes, and Gary Neville, own shares of the fourth-place team – which was recently beaten by Stockport County in the League Two playoffs.

The former Wales international will appear in court later this year following allegations he assaulted his ex-girlfriend Kate Greville.

In addition to the alleged assault on a PR moderator, Giggs is also accused of engaging in coercive and controlling behavior between December 2017 and November 2020.

He also faces a common assault charge against Kate’s sister, Emma, 26 – which he has denied.

Giggs was on trial for three weeks last August, with jurors failing to reach a verdict.

The new trial is scheduled to begin on July 31.

After last year’s trial, Giggs said: “After more than three weeks in court, I’m obviously very disappointed that a retrial has been brought.

“My plea of not guilty remains relevant to all charges. I am confident that justice will ultimately be served and my name removed from all charges.

“I would like to thank my legal team, my mother, my children, my girlfriend Zara, as well as my closest friends, for their support during this time.

“I understand the level of concern and scrutiny surrounding this case but I would like to ask that my and my family’s privacy be respected in the coming weeks and months.”

Giggs was married to ex-wife Stacey from 2007 to 2017, the couple has two children together – Zachary, 16, and Liberty, 20.
